Authentic Sambal Prawns

Ingredients:
- 1 kg big prawns
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 12 x shallots (minced)
- 1 bulb garlic (minced)
- 350 g dried chili paste
- 20 g belacan
- 1 tablespoon water
- Seasonings:
- 1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1½ teaspoon sugar
Marinade:
- ½ teaspoon chicken stock powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
